Bridgestone

Bridgestone is a major supplier to the Australasian automotive industry and provides an extensive range of quality tyres through 300+ stores across Australia and New Zealand.

BELL regularly works in partnership with Bridgestone across its retail network and in 2019 was engaged to design fit-out for its new national head office in Eastwood, Adelaide.

Bridgestone required an innovative, dynamic and multi-purpose space to facilitate collaboration and creativity across not only its Adelaide team, but across states and internationally.

Within the open plan office, a high level of spatial planning was required to connect collaboration and workspaces over two levels while maintaining a seamless division of departments and preserving acoustic qualities.

To cater to Bridgestone’s diverse work culture, a variety of meeting spaces were designed to facilitate a high level of privacy, connectivity, and collaboration. A multipurpose outdoor terrace and communal café kitchen increase opportunities for both formal and casual meetings.

Neutral tones and materials create a bright, fresh aesthetic, which is enhanced by a large skylight feature on the top level. Furniture and material selection were approached with acoustics and privacy, as well as opportunities for collaboration and growth, front of mind.
