West End

Lion is a leading beverage and food company with a portfolio of many of Australia and New Zealand’s favourite brands, including South Australia’s iconic West End Brewery.

In 2015 Lion invested $80M for upgrade works at the West End Brewery site to increase brewing production and to upgrade aging facilities.

BELL was engaged to provide architecture and interior design services.

The upgrade included improvements to brewing capacity and technology, office accommodation, provision of a customer experience through providing safe access within the brew house for the public, and an upgrade of the brewery’s public access and main entry.

The project was designed to be delivered within a tight timeframe, without disruption to the brewery’s operations.
