Linfox Logistics is Asia Pacific’s largest privately-owned logistics company with operations employing 24,000 people across 12 countries. Each year Linfox delivers goods valued at $60 billion across a network of more than 200 warehouses.

In 2017 Linfox expanded its supply chain network with the development of a new inter-modal facility in Darwin, Northern Territory to enhance its long-distance road, rail and coastal shipping capability.

The new facility includes Linfox’s Northern Territory administration headquarters, cold and ambient warehousing, and a significant shipping container yard directly adjoining the East Arm rail line.

BELL was engaged to provide architectural and interior design services for the $10M project. Design challenges successfully managed included allowances for condensation and redundancy for mechanical systems, and application of wind ratings for the location.
