Javier Docampo to the position of Principal, and Nigel Quaini, Karen Costanzo, and Zoe Strauss to the positions of Associate.
Javier commenced working with BELL over a decade ago. He was our first team member when our doors opened in 2014. From this day Javier cemented himself as a Design and BIM leader and has grown to lead the design and delivery of many of our major projects nationally. Javier has steadily moved through the ranks at BELL from BIM Manager to Associate and now Principal. The promotion of Javier is deserved recognition for his tireless dedication and commitment to our team and clients, his giving and caring nature and values, and his outstanding ability to fashion powerful design outcomes with envied efficiency. Javier has over 20 years’ experience working across Southern America and Australia delivering major Health, Defence, Commercial, Education, Sports and Recreation and Industrial projects. Javier’s skills and approach to project delivery is highly valued by our clients, as a result, he is often specifically requested to lead projects.
Nigel is our third longest serving team member having commenced working with BELL over a decade ago in 2014. He joined us initially on a casual basis as a Student of Architecture. We have seen Nigel grow significantly from a Student to a Graduate of Architecture, Architect and now Associate. During this time Nigel has become a real force within our practice designing, delivering, and generating work. As a design and project leader he deeply cares for his craft and always strives for design excellence. Nigel’s natural warmth and genuine positive approach to life sees him thrive in any project team environment and the odd CPD, social or networking event. During his 12+ years in the industry Nigel has developed sound capability in the delivery of Defence, Health and Aged Living, Commercial, Sports and Recreation, Hospitality and Industrial projects.
Karen joined our team 6 years ago after managing her own business for several years. In this time, she has progressed from an Architectural Technician to Practice Manager and now Associate. Karen always leads with care and compassion and absolute commitment. As a result, she has built strong bonds with our clients and team, allowing her to effectively manage projects and team resourcing in the Adelaide Studio. Karen holds over 20 years’ experience specialising in the delivery of Education, Commercial, Residential, and Industrial projects. She is regularly praised by clients for her diligence, responsiveness, and ability to interpret complex design requirements with ease. Some of our customers will not let her go which is wonderful and deserved recognition of her professional abilities.
Zoe has been part of our team for 4 years. She has moved through the ranks quickly from Interior Designer to Senior Interior Designer and now Associate. Her rapid rise is direct recognition for her impact on the growth and development of our interiors discipline both locally and nationally. Zoe is a natural leader. Her warmth, generosity, outgoing personality and love of life and her profession is infectious. Zoe’s nature gains immediate trust and respect from our clients and team which has enabled her to grow our interiors team with confidence and purpose. Across 10+ years in the industry Zoe has delivered exceptional interior design outcomes on a vast variety of Workplace, Defence, Commercial, Sports and Recreation, Hospitality, Retail, Residential and Industrial projects. Our clients regularly praise Zoe on her ability to meet and exceed their expectations. Her management capability, design sensibilities and delivery efficiency are continually celebrated.
