Karen is an Associate at BELL, where she plays a key role in the operations of the Adelaide Studio and leads the delivery of projects across Food Processing and Commercial Warehouse development.
Karen brings almost 4 decades of industry experience, having commenced her career in 1986 with an Associate Diploma in Architectural Studies at TAFE Gilles Plains. Across her career Karen has gained extensive experience in documenting and contract administration across the Education, Aged Care, Retail (Bank) and Industrial sectors, and drafting services for Traffic and Services engineers.
Karen’s career includes time in residential design, where she was awarded HIA Building Designer of the Year, as well as operating her own building design business and running a childcare centre—showcasing her diverse capabilities in both design and leadership.
Since joining BELL in 2018 as an Architectural Technician, Karen has progressed into the role of Practice Manager in 2022, and Associate in 2024. Widely recognised for her diligence, responsiveness, and ability to interpret complex requirements with ease, Karen’s true strength lies in her care and compassion- with clients requesting Karen’s repeat services.
