OI Glass

OI Australia creates innovative, distinctive and beautiful glass packaging from four locations including South Australia.

To complement OI’s Adelaide manufacturing plant, property developer Commercial and General engaged BELL to design a 38,000m² storage warehouse adjacent to the existing facility in West Croydon.

BELL drew on its considerable industrial design experience to optimise the warehouse capacity based on OI’s established picking and dispatch priorities. The same functionality is reflected in the design of office areas and loading facilities, including a 22m structural steel canopy.

Carparking and landscaping features were designed in accordance with local council requirements, and the completed building will include a glass bottle feature façade.
