Haigh’s Chocolates

Haigh’s Chocolates are a family owned Australian business that has been making fine chocolates from cocoa bean since 1915. For over 100 years Haigh’s has distinguished itself as an iconic South Australian brand. The company produces over 1000 tonnes of chocolate annually, operates from 21 stores across Australia and employs over 850 people in the production, distribution and sales of fine chocolates.  In 2021 Bell were engaged by Haigh’s to champion the design and development of a new national production, distribution and administration precinct that aligned with business growth targets and values. The new $130M facility will employ over 400 staff and allow Haigh’s to double their production capacity and enter into a new phase of significant growth and development. The facility contains 9,000m2 of production factory, 6,000m2 of distribution and online fulfilment warehousing along with 3,000m2 of staff administration and amenity facilities. The project is set to be fully operational in the second half of 2025.
