Benson Radiology

Benson Radiology is one of Australia’s largest private radiology practices with 48 radiologists and 24 clinics across South Australia.

In 2018, BELL was engaged by developer Catcorp to provide architectural services for a new Bensons Radiology facility in Nuriootpa, Barossa Valley.

The design team worked directly with Benson Radiology, to understand and ensure clinical requirements including ultrasound, X-ray, and CT scanning and reporting rooms were efficiently included in the 450m2 layout.

Set back from the boundary with 17 car spaces to the front, the building’s facade was designed with blade-like elements maintaining effective branding while creating a distinctive entry point.

Landscaping was designed to complement and maintain the existing treescape while maintaining visibility of the car park.

The facility was opened in May 2019.
