Babcock

Babcock operates across Marine, Aviation and Land sectors specialising in providing support services to Defence, Aviation and Critical Services Industries. They employ more than 1,600 people across Australia and New Zealand.  Construction is well underway on their $31 million, 6,000m2 purpose built, high-tech, manufacturing, maintenance and administrative centre in Adelaide, South Australia . The development consists of 4,000m2 dedicated to the delivery of manufacturing and maintenance capability and 2,000m2 serving as a corporate office headquarters for the South Australian Babcock team. The facility will enhance Babcock’s ability to fulfil defence support contracts across land and naval domains, including the in-service sustainment of the Collins Class submarine fleet. Additional expansion land sits in readiness for Babcock to cater for future AUKUS support.
