BELL attended the opening of METL’s new maritime training facility in Henderson WA on Thursday 6th April 2017. The national organisation has established a base in WA to provide training in a range of maritime-focused high-risk licenses including dogging, rigging, and crane operations. The facility has the capacity to train thousands of seafarers each year. WA Senator Glenn Sterle formally opened the complex along with METL CEO Simon Earle and METL Chair and MUA National Secretary Paddy Crumlin. BELL wish to congratulate the METL team and in particular Simon Earle and Rob Simm, on achieving the milestone. We wish them all the best commencing operations and training on site.
