Hollywood Plaza Shopping Centre
BELL was engaged to deliver a series of strategic improvements at Hollywood Plaza Shopping Centre in Salisbury Downs, enhancing customer access, circulation and convenience while supporting the ongoing evolution of this established retail destination.
The project involved the reconfiguration of the existing Woolworths tenancy, creating opportunities to improve connections between the supermarket, mall and surrounding car parking areas. Key works included the realignment of the Woolworths shopfront, relocation of existing tenancies, construction of a new mall entry and delivery of a six-bay Direct to Boot facility.
The design was driven by a desire to create a clearer point of arrival and improve the overall customer experience. The completed works provide enhanced visibility to Woolworths, improved pedestrian movement between the car park and centre, and more convenient access to online grocery collection services. The project also unlocked access to an underutilised parking area.
Delivered within a live retail environment while Woolworths remained fully operational, the project required careful planning and coordination between the client, tenants, consultants and contractor to minimise disruption throughout construction.
BELL’s role encompassed masterplanning, architectural design and project coordination, ensuring the works aligned with the centre owner’s long-term vision while responding to changing customer expectations and retail operational requirements.
