Woolworths Moorebank Programme shortlisted for Innovation & Excellence Awards

We’re proud to share that Woolworths Moorebank Programme has been shortlisted for the 2026 Property Council of Australia Innovation & Excellence Awards in the Best Business or Industrial Park category.

As architect and interior designer, BELL has been privileged to contribute to this $1.3 billion, state-of-the-art development within the ESR Moorebank Intermodal Precinct. Bringing together the National and Regional Distribution Centres, the project delivers an integrated logistics solution designed to strengthen supply chain resilience and support more efficient customer fulfilment.

Conceived as a generational step-change for Australian logistics, the Moorebank development sets new benchmarks in land efficiency, intermodal integration, automation readiness, sustainability and workforce experience.

Across 126,000 sqm, the two multi-level distribution centres features advanced automation and robotics, a direct rail connection to Port Botany removing 26,000 truck movements from Sydney roads each year, 5 Star Green Star ratings across both facilities, and rooftop solar generation equivalent to powering 880 households.

This landmark project is redefining Australian retail logistics, demonstrating bold thinking, future-ready infrastructure and human-centred design at scale.

Congratulations again to the entire project team, Woolworths Group, Primary Connect, Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC), ESR Group Australia, and all partners, on delivering something truly benchmark-setting for Australian logistics and industrial design.
